Trick-or-treat from decorated car trunks at Dad Bod Memorial Park, with a costume contest at 6:00 p.m. Free for children 12 and under with an adult.
Dongvile’s annual Trunk-or-Treat brings dozens of decorated car trunks to Dad Bod Memorial Park for two hours of safe, well-lit trick-or-treating. The event is for children 12 and under, accompanied by an adult.

Costume contest age groups are 4 and under, 5–8 and 9–12, plus a pet category. Pets must be leashed.
Host a trunk
Register by Friday, October 23, at 5:00 p.m. at the Parks & Recreation office in City Hall or by calling (936) 555-0104. Hosts arrive between 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. and stay parked until 7:15 p.m.
Safety
The Brisket County burn ban is in effect. No open flames, including candles in jack-o’-lanterns. Use battery-operated lights. Fog machines are limited to three bursts per hour.
Okra St is closed between E 2nd St and E 4th St from 3:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Park on nearby streets and walk in.
